For the past 14 years, Wendy has been the Vice President and Business Manager of WDDX.net, a website and e-mail hosting company she co-owns with her husband, Michael. As a small business owner she has gained valuable experience as a customer service rep, sales rep, computer service technician, bookkeeper, inventory manager and the many other roles that every small business owner has to perform. This wide range of experience and knowledge allows her to provide her CRM clients with valuable advice that they can and do use in their own businesses to become more efficient.
Wendy became an Act! Certified Consultant in 2007. Being located in “The Yachting Capital of the World,” her main focus is CRM for the yachting industry – brokerage, sales and charter management. She specializes in customizing Act! to meet her clients’ needs, finding and implementing solutions that integrate Act! with other programs, and supporting and training her clients in using these systems.
Prior to working full-time managing WDDX.net and doing Act! consulting, Wendy was the MIS Director at a copier sales and service company which was purchased by Sharp Business Systems in the early 2000’s. During her time there she was primarily responsible for creating and maintaining databases and web portals and providing custom reports that powered the sales and customer service management teams. Some of these systems are still in use today.
Wendy has an AA in liberal arts and has a charming, brilliant son who is a mechanical engineer in the Fort Lauderdale area. Wendy and her husband, Michael are also proud parents to two Whippets and one brand new Boston Terrier.
